Williams, AZ

We headed north to Williams to board the Polar Express and visit the North Pole! We explored the depot before changing into our jammies. The boys loved seeing the big trains up close.

Our Tree 2010

The boys have been great around our tree this year. Everett loves plugging it in and Lionel just wants to play with any ornament that looks like a "ball".

We're Home!

After some serious driving, we made it back to AZ safe and sound. The boys were so happy to be back home. It didn't take long to unload, get laundry going, and adjust. I was worried about the first time I'd have to put them back in the car, but they didn't mind at all. Overall, it was a great trip and experience. 9 states were added to their lists! These pictures were taken after we arrived home and diaper-changed everybody. They both squirmed away before I could get their pants on because they were just so happy to be home!

Pitt, Pitt

In Odessa, TX, Billy found a fundome. Remember those? The inside had a big sitting area, playground, putt, putt, and pool. It was really neat and welcome after sitting in the car. When we arrived, I walked the boys around to show them the play area and Everett asked about the mini-golf. I told him it was putt-putt and he watched some kids playing. Later, after we had settled into our room, I asked Everett if he wanted to go to the playground and he said, "No, I just want to play pit-pit." He LOVED it! I was so amazed at how grown-up he is getting because he actually played it the right way and enjoyed it so much.

Lionel's Turn!

Lionel loved showing off his new word, "Ball!"

Happy Thanksgiving!

The hotel had a Thanksgiving buffet that we enjoyed rather quickly as Everett was whining to go back on the water slides and Lionel didn't have much of an appetite due to a fever. It was still nice to not have to cook!

Hello?

Throughout our trip, Everett had been obsessed with the fact that each hotel room came with its very own telephone. I find this especially humorous because nowadays, everyone has cell phones and no one even uses a hotel phone. But Everett touched each phone in each room enough for a year! At Great Wolf Lodge, since we had a suite, we actually had THREE phones. His head nearly exploded! We unplugged them so he could enjoy them.
