4:00 on Friday afternoons, you will find me indulging in the couch and my US Weekly. This past week, Everett found his Thomas catalog and joined me for some "me" time. "Mama, I'm reading MY magazine!", he said.

Big brother wanted to give little brother a ride. Lionel squealed in delight the whole time!

A Day at the Pumpkin Patch

Today was our first pumpkin patch visit of the season! We went to MacDonald's Ranch and had a great day. We took a hayride into the desert to some pumpkins. Even though Lionel is walking, he refuses to wear shoes, so he didn't get to run around like big brother. I think Everett lifted up every single pumpkin there. We picked out some cute ones and headed back to the ranch. We had a snack and then went to the petting farm. They had mini-donkeys, a pony, goats, a cow, chickens, bunnies, and 2 adorable pigs. Both Everett and Lionel loved watching the animals. I really want to get a pig!
