Tower City
Daddy has started building Everett towers at night so when he wakes up and comes downstairs, he can destroy them. Everett loves to knock down towers normally, but the first time he saw, "Tower City", he admired it for an hour before knocking it all down. The next morning, he started very carefully walking in between the towers, turning his shoulders when needed. He weaved between them for about 5 minutes before knocking them down. I really wonder what he's thinking when he does stuff like that!

Gobble, Gobble
Everett enjoyed Momma's corn casserole best of all today. He also had some bread and ham and maybe one bite of green bean. Not because he wasn't hungry or didn't like it, but because he was at his best friend Gabe's house and couldn't be bothered to stop playing long enough to eat. He also couldn't be bothered to pose for me, so these are my only Thanksgiving dinner shots.

When Did This Happen?

If you want to see the passage of time, have a baby. There is no other way to actually see with your own eyes just how 15 months can fly by.
Here is a cute story from today....we were at the playground when Everett started walking on top of a small stone wall that separated the grass from a rocky area. It was about 6 inches wide and he started walking normally on it and realized that he had to put one foot in front of the other to balance on the "beam". This was hard for him so he turn sideways and walked the whole length of this (about 25 feet) and then came back the same way. A future gymnast?

What's Cookin' Good-Looking?
Happy Halloween from our little chef! We had a blast taking these pictures and Everett really seemed to enjoy wearing his costume. It was my first official sewing project and I must admit, I am quite proud of myself. We didn't make it to trick-or-treating with him because he was in bed and asleep at 6pm. His Aunt Sue wore him out! We had a very small handful of kids come to our door so we are stuck with loads of candy. (Billy doesn't seem the least bit concerned about that!)
