The BIG Guy!

The boys loved seeing the North Pole's lights, but they were getting a bit antsy. You'll notice a lovely photo of Lionel doing summersaults in our seat. But the real surprise was that Lionel was scared of Santa! He slept through that part last year, so I didn't know what to expect from our just about 2 year old. He covered his face and screamed, "NO!" and Santa said, "I'm really not a bad guy!" Everett gave Santa a hug though. And then he said to me, "I'm ready to get off the train now."

What is That White Stuff???

It was a chilly afternoon and Everett and I had just finished lunch when we heard it start to rain. And then it got louder and louder......HAIL! It turned out to be a big storm and a very thick hail came down. We went out on the patio to watch and Everett was pretty impressed with it. He didn't want to touch it though. I was shocked how it was piling up! Made me question where I was for a second there.

My family cheered me on as I completed my first half marathon! The boys loved being at the sidelines cheering for, not only me, but all of the runners. It was fun seeing them as I went by. This is a cute picture because Lionel is just staring at my medal.

My Wild Night of Hot Tubbing!

Yes, I was in a hot tub with three guys last weekend! Aren't you jealous? The weather has been absolutely perfect for some night time hot tubbing. The boys were a bit confused since the hot tub is usually their mini pool, but they both fell in love with it quickly. When I asked Lionel if he was ready to get out, he said, "No, more bubbles!" He has started talking so much lately! It kind of surprises us because we are used to him just grunting and not having an opinion. But now, not only does he have an opinion, but he makes sure it is the EXACT opposite of Everett's for everything!
