Lost Photos!

I found these photos from back in September on the camera and realized I never shared them. Everett got a Cars slip and slide for his birthday that we had a good, old time with! The boys just love the slip and slide. It is truly hilarious to watch them on it. I didn't take a lot of pictures to document it, but yes, Lionel did drink about a gallon of water from it, as usual.

My Protege!

Everett and I have been having fun in the afternoons after school. He continues to do really well and just LOVES it! He "teaches" me and Lionel constantly and always praises me ("Great idea, Mama! You are always thinking!") He made me make name tags of his classmates so he could do the daily job chart. He did this all weekend long! I was reminded of myself - creating tests and actually answering the questions and putting my classmates' names on them so I could grade papers! My brother still hates me for giving him homework when he would play school with me. Maybe Everett will be a teacher?

That is what I hum all day long. Lionel is TROUBLE! He has NO fear and is quiet and stealth. I can't believe the things I find him doing! One of his cutest things is when he wants to reach something high, he runs to get the stool from the bathroom. It doesn't matter if it's super high up there, he still thinks he can reach it with the stool. And a couple of times, he was too lazy to go get the stool so he got Zoe's dog bed. It's just a big pillow, so it is hardly a boost at all! I don't know if I mentioned this before, but he climbed out of his crib, too! He has the good, old crib tent now. We'll see how long it can contain him!

Candyland!

Grandma Carole was here last month and set a new world record for consecutive games of Candyland with Everett. They only broke for meals and sleep! It was so cute to see him repeating the phrases she would say. He learned some lessons about losing with grace. And I am happy to say that he does it well now. He must be pretty burnt out on it since we haven't heard a peep about it lately!

Look Who's All Grown Up!

Lionel and I have been having some fun while Everett is in school. Mostly, we do errands and Lionel whines for "Ya-ya". He misses him so much! But we took a trip to Imagination Ave a few weeks ago. It was amazing to see what a big boy he is. He was using his imagination and literally dancing around with joy. It's so nice to have this time with just him!
