Everett's Happiest Place on Earth

We hit the Wet & Wild water park twice this weekend.  It is fabulous!  We all had a blast.   Everett loved the water slides.  Mr. No Fear broke the rules many times by going down face first!  He called them the "little big slides".  We also tried the lazy river (too slow moving for Everett) and the wave pool (the waves crashing into him made him laugh).  Both days he was passed out before we pulled into the driveway.  

You Scratch my Back, I'll Scratch Yours

It was quite a reunion when Gabe and Everett finally got to see each other after our long trip home.  Gabe came over to play today and I swear they just plain ran for the whole first hour.   One would chase the other, then they'd both run, then one would just get up and announce, "Run!" and the other one would stop what he was doing and run.  

Everett told Gabe to ride the airplane and he pushed him.  Then, when Gabe got off, Everett announced, "Everett's turn!  Gabey push Everett."  This whole thing was conducted without any help from me.  I was impressed.  Not so impressed when later, I heard the front door open.  Those two rascals figured out how to unlock it and stood there with it wide open, staring at the big, big world.

Ohio

We just got home from three weeks in Ohio.  We were very busy visiting family and friends.  The weather was super hot, super cold, and finally somewhere in between, so we got to do a lot outside.  Below are all the highlights....

We got to go to the zoo with Aunt Jenni, Uncle Billy, Aunt Mandy, Uncle Brian, Grandma Carole, and all the cousins.  We saw the dinosaurs (which Braeden informed me were "not real") and lots of animals.  The group shot was the most challenging part!
